JOLT Arts will showcase three ecstatic and legendary in-house acts. Prepare to levitate upon audio waves of delight and heightened awareness.
Mesmerising and technically bedazzling, Tarlochan Bobby Singh is Australia’s master of the tabla and Indian Classical rhythmic flows.
A reimagining of what it means to be avant-garde: two artists from award-winning act The Amplified Elephants (Teagan Connor, Steven Hagiliassis) with musicians from ensemble/band BOLT Ensemble (Karl Wilebrant (bass), Hamish Upton (drums)) and Australia’s recalcitrant sound artist James Hullick in a night of multicultural, electric and expansive sonic offerings.
Each act is to be presented in surround sound delivered by Michael Hewes, Australia’s leading sound diffusion engineer and artist. Hullick and the BOLT Ensemble will perform alongside projections by Japanese video master Akiko Nakayama.
