BOLT ENSEMBLE

The BOLT Ensemble is a pool of musicians who perform in-house JOLT productions and repertoire. The BOLT Ensemble and The Amplified Elephants have invited guest artists to perform on bills with them for the BOLT Invitation Shows. The woodwind musicians from BOLT will perform Anthropomorphic Machine – composed by James Hullick and originally performed in 2022 with legendary performance artist, Stelarc.

WARREN BURT

Warren Burt is a composer, performer, instrument builder, sound poet, film-maker, multi-media artist, writer, and maker of unusual visual and sound structures, for both humans and machines. He is known for composing in a wide variety of new music styles, ranging from acoustic music, electroacoustic music, sound art installations and text-based music. Burt often employs elements of improvisation, microtonality, humour, live interaction and lo-fi electronic techniques into his music.

 

NATALIE WALTERS + JAY EUESDEN

Natalie Walters and Jay Euesden are sound artists who participate in JOLT’s weekly creative workshops. For this show, they will collaborate on an improvisation with electronics.
