Peter Tolhurst is a singer and guitarist with The Hackkets. In recent years Tolhurst has been writing songs for The Hackkets repertoire including their latest album So Faar, So Good (2023, Hullick Studios Label).

Tolhurst’s work with The Hackkets and his profile as an artist has been incubated by Footscray Community Arts over many years, with Tolhurst and The Hackkets recently switching their management representation to JOLT Arts.

2023 was a great year for Tolhurst and the Hackkets, supporting the Cartridge Family and Rudely Interrupted, performing at the first Eight-Six Festival, and various legendary venues around Melbourne including the Northcote Social Club.
