Willebrant is the ambient field drone project of Naarm/Melbourne bassist and producer Karl Willebrant.

Willebrant creates immersive textures and emotive expanses that allow the listener to conceive a visual experience through the mind’s eye, traversing soundscapes and drones utilizing bass guitars, found instruments,synths, and field recordings.

Willebrant has released numerous independent and label recordings, including collaborations with various ambient/electro artists from Europe, the US, India and Australia with local artists such as Black Light Ghost, IKSRE, jazz trumpeter Paul Williamson and contemporary/classical guitarist Ken Murray.
