Having established his decidedly digital voice within The Amplified Elephants, Daniel Munnery has created new works in response to the mercurial harp playing of virtuoso and long-standing BOLT Ensemble member Mary Doumany. 

The ideal of the virtuoso has infinite forms – one of them being Zoltan Fecso, whose work explores the intersection between instrument playing and live electronic processing: the results are trance inducing for the lucky listener. 

Australian sound art legend Thembi Soddell has created a new work featuring her own dark electronics and two of the BOLT Ensemble’s more storied performers: Miranda Hill on double bass and Karen Heath on clarinets – predominantly of the bass kind.

The sound is the gift.
