Presented by JOLT Arts, Footscray Community Arts Centre, PBS 106.7FM & Beat Magazine

ALESSIO DILETTOSO + ALON ILSAR

CISSI

IMPERMANENCE

ALESSSIO DILETTOSO is a young sound artist who has been developing new work with Alon Ilsar’s sonic computer controlling AIRSTICKS. Prepare yourself for a wild ride in electronic glitch. Alessio is being mentored through sound artist Robbie Avenaim’s SAFE IN SOUND program supporting people with disabilities in outreach contexts.

Audiences will then be sonically blessed through the hypnotic soundscapes of the outlandishly gifted CISSI TSANG – all the way from WA. When Cissi isn’t shredding guitars, they are exploring sonic terrains inspired by WA’s unique landscapes.

We are delighted to present IMPERMANENCE – one of Australia’s rising stars. Born in jazz, this trio redefines the idiom within 21st century art music frameworks. And it is a beautiful entwining of minds that exists between Bianca Gannon (keyboards and percussion), Josh Holt (double bass) and Elliott Hughes (trumpet and electronics).

Be transported.

Alessio Dilettoso is supported by the Australian Government through the Australia Council its arts advisory body.
