1:1 ARTIST CAREER DEVELOPMENT

1-on-1 mentoring, masterclasses and a commission: pathways into arts industries.

A.M.P. is an artist workshop and career development program for individual artists who are registered with the NDIS. The goal of A.M.P. is to give artists mentoring and avenues to paid work in the arts sector.

Each artist enrolled in the A.M.P. program will be offered a commission to make either:
– an album
– a book
– a live and/or online show or exhibition

The word ‘commission’ means that you will be paid an honorarium fee to make the work. You must finish the project to receive the honorarium.

A.M.P. STRUCTURE
The program includes:
Weekly: one-on-one mentoring with a leading artist
Weekly: a master class led by a leading artist
Once a Year: a seminar week in the mid-semester holidays.

Recommended durations for one-to-one mentoring sessions are: 9:30-12pm; 12:30-3pm; 3-5:30pm.

ELIGIBILITY
– you have been enrolled in one of our group workshops
– you have been enrolled in I Am Sonic previously (one-on-one mentoring)
– you have equivalent experience to the above points but are new to the program. We love new people.
