Welcome to a new home for the avant-garde in Australia. Originally a bank, the 1888 Victorian Heritage building is located at 342 High St, Northcote, in the heart of the inner north’s cultural centre.This growth corridor for arts and culture is an ideal location for any arts space, and enables JOLT Arts to position people with disabilities at the heart of independent local culture.

The venue includes a modest sized 60-seat theatre. The seating area and raised stage offer a versatile space for live avant-garde and experimental performances. The aesthetic is grungy, yet intimate, with its original, unpainted walls and period details. An adjacent room is used as a box office and a shop for merchandise, and there is a bar in the JOLTED Courtyard.
